Delegates at the Festival

The Traditional Kỉnh Pagoda Festival is held annually on the 12th day of the first lunar month. This is a cultural and spiritual belief activity, a place where local people and visitors from all over converge and interact. It is also an occasion to express the moral principles of “Drinking water, remembering its source” and “Eating fruit, remembering the one who planted the tree,” honoring the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Vuon Gia to regain national independence, freedom for the country, and happiness for the people, thereby writing a glorious history for the soldiers and people of Yen Tho Ward.

The Ceremony of Beating the Drum and Ringing the Bell to Open the Festival

Through the festival, the teachings of the Buddha in social life will continue to be emphasized, encouraging people to come together to build, accumulate merits, and develop the Kỉnh Pagoda’s Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha). The aim is to complete the construction projects to better serve the religious and spiritual activities of the people, as well as visitors and Buddhists from all over.
